How it works

A filter on the phone. Not a store listing.

NightQuiet starts a VPN that never leaves the device. It watches DNS — the phone’s “where is this server?” list — and answers known ad hosts with nowhere. Maps, calls, and ordinary sites keep using the real network.

That is the same family of trick as a hosts file, without rooting the phone.

Google sells ads. Play policy names “apps that block or interfere with another app displaying ads” as a violation. NightQuiet will not be in the Play Store. You buy the APK here and install it yourself.

1. Start filter

Accept Android’s VPN screen once. NightQuiet is the VPN endpoint. There is no CdCreative server in the middle.

2. Ad hosts miss

AppLovin, AdMob, Unity Ads hosts, ironSource, Pangle and similar names resolve locally. You can add a domain if a new one appears.

3. Quiet Mode (Alpha)

If an ad still loads, mute media sound for 30 minutes or 1 hour. The ringer stays. Volume comes back when the timer ends.

Install

Buy the app. Put the file on the phone. Tap Start filter.

  1. Buy Beta ($5) or Alpha ($10) on this site. WooCommerce emails the APK.
  2. Move the file — plug the phone into a computer (Mac: Android File Transfer → Download) or download the APK on the phone itself.
  3. Allow the install. Android will ask you to permit installs from Files or Chrome. That is normal for a sideload.
  4. Open NightQuiet and tap Start filter. Accept the VPN screen.
  5. Settings → Apps → NightQuiet → Battery → Unrestricted. Then open the game.
  6. Alpha only: pick 30 min or 1 hour and tap Start Quiet Mode.

Play Protect may call this an unrecognized app. You are installing software from the company you paid. Uninstall any older NightQuiet first if the new file will not update.

Calls and texts are supposed to survive.

Quiet Mode turns down media — games and most ad video. It does not turn off the ringer. When the timer ends, media volume returns so the phone is not stuck silent.
